Full House!

This is what it looked like in my house Thursday morning:

I think I count nine babies in this photo, and that's not including Beo or the kids in the kitchen and his bedroom! The moms group I started here in El Cerrito has exploded and we now have over sixty members, so having an in-home gathering is pretty hectic! I was surprised to discover that I actually loved having a ton of kids in the house, although I am sure my opinion might be a little different if their mothers hadn't been there as well! Beo was a little upset about sharing his toys with the first kid to arrive, but when there got to be so many that he couldn't keep tabs on all his toys he loosened up and had a great time.

I do not know why I can't get some photos to show up the right way, but if you turn your head...

You can see that in Beo's quest to get my soda, sitting on top of the washing machine, he got his stool from the bathroom and then climbed from the stool into the bucket on his diaper pail. I found him standing in this precarious position, sipping a few drops at a time from the soda straw he'd pulled out and was dipping in and out of the cup. (He's into dipping right now.)

This shot was just so perfect I had to run and get a pacifier for Kelson.

And this is how I now find Beo most days at naptime:

Since his bed is now a mattress on the floor, he tries to play and read books instead of napping. I usually wait until it gets quiet, then sneak into his room and move him to his bed.

Wait! Which book is that he's reading? That might be the key. :)

Haha, that's "Grumpy Bird." But he falls asleep reading other books too. :)
