Happy Halloween!

This is Beowulf's first year to dress up for Halloween! He is going as Link from the Legend of Zelda games; specifically, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Here's Link:

The costume is just the right colored jammies plus boots and then a vest and hat I made out of fleece. The shield on his back was the hardest part, since the faux suede was non-ironable and fairly hard to work with. I made the shield stiff but still bendable by putting a manila envelope inside.

Ta-dah! Beo wasn't terribly thrilled about wearing the costume but once he got outside and running around he started having fun. I imagine once he figures out it will get him candy he'll be even more enthusiastic.
